Real-world production projects and open source contributions

RMS Titanic

RMS Titanic is a static web interface designed to preserve the memory of one of the most significant and iconic events of the 20th century. The architecture prioritizes information hierarchy and visual clarity, presenting historical records, casualty statistics, and timelines of events through a carefully crafted design that ensures the end user experiences no cognitive overload. Every typographic decision, every color code, and every unit of spacing was calibrated to produce a result that is not only rich in information but also visually polished and aesthetically refined, offering an interface that feels as premium as the subject matter is profound.

Astronomy Gallery

Astronomical Gallery is a comprehensive web application that connects NASA's official APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day) API with an immersive front-end visualization system. A custom PHP middleware layer handles all API key management, query routing, and response normalization, completely abstracting the complexity of data retrieval from the client layer. The interface consumes this intermediate API to dynamically populate a calendar-based gallery interface, where each day node displays its corresponding astronomical resource (whether a high-resolution photograph or an embedded video) with smooth transitions and adaptive layout logic. The end result is a visually stunning, dynamic, and highly aesthetic application that transforms raw spatial data into an engaging user experience, worthy of the cosmos it displays.

Vístete con Conciencia

Vístete con Conciencia is a civic-educational web platform engineered as part of a university initiative at Universidad La Salle (ULSA) in León, Nicaragua. The system architecture delivers a multi-section informational interface designed to raise awareness about the environmental and social impact of the fast fashion industry exposing hidden data such as the 7,500 liters of water required to produce a single pair of jeans and the resulting river contamination caused by mass textile production. The platform integrates a practical Green Map module that surfaces geolocation-based listings of local second-hand shops, donation centers, and repair workshops across Nicaragua, enabling users to take immediate, tangible action in their own communities. The interface was engineered to be visually compelling and highly accessible, ensuring that complex sustainability data is presented in a digestible and aesthetically refined format that drives genuine behavioral change.

MTech Frontend

Contributed to the front-end development and redesign of the MTech website by customizing Drupal Twig templates, creating and integrating reusable UI components, and enhancing the homepage layout. Worked extensively with Drupal’s theme layer, including template inheritance, page-specific overrides, and component-based architecture. Implemented a new client showcase section, modified homepage content structure, and collaborated on visual improvements based on stakeholder feedback. Gained hands-on experience with Drupal theming, Twig templating, SCSS styling, asset compilation using npm and Webpack, cache management with Drush, and debugging front-end rendering issues. Strengthened skills in responsive design, component integration, troubleshooting template errors, and maintaining a modern development workflow within a DDEV local environment.

MTech Backend

As a Web Developer at MTech, I specialize in building, maintaining, and optimizing robust web applications with a strong focus on PHP and Drupal. My day-to-day responsibilities involve everything from complex template modifications and feature development to integrating advanced tracking solutions. I work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project delivery. Beyond my direct project work, I am deeply committed to the open-source ecosystem, having completed over 40 official code contributions to the Drupal community, which reflects my dedication to continuous improvement and collaborative software development.

Morita's Boutique

Developed and launched Morita's Boutique, a high-performance, mobile-first e-commerce landing page featuring dynamic regional catalogs, responsive CSS layouts, and custom typography. The project includes end-to-end deployment on Cloudflare Pages with custom domain registration, SSL activation, and complete technical SEO implementation comprising XML sitemaps, Open Graph metadata, Google Search Console integration, and local search optimization.

Servicios Topográficos León Nicaragua logo

Servicios Topográficos León Nicaragua

Servicios Topo DP is a web platform designed for the secure consultation of topographic receipts and blueprints by clients. The project was originally developed under a monolithic architecture using Drupal 11 and, to eliminate server costs and radically optimize load speeds, it was refactored and migrated to Astro, operating as a 100% static application (SSG) on Cloudflare Pages. To maintain the privacy of financial information and PDF files without relying on an active database, the new architecture implemented a cryptographic security system based on build-time SHA-256 hashes. Currently, both the original Drupal 11 environment and the new static Astro version are deployed, live, and fully functional simultaneously, demonstrating the ability to manage and maintain legacy systems alongside modern web architectures.

El Tablero logo

El Tablero

El Tablero, is an interactive static chess encyclopedia detailing fundamental piece movements and biographies of historical players. The project is built with Astro to generate dynamic routes from Markdown content collections, acting as a high-speed, flat-file database. The interface utilizes Tailwind CSS v4 for a responsive, purple-themed design, integrating interactive SVG graphics, optimized WebP photographic images, and a persistent dark mode system managed with vanilla JavaScript, all automatically compiled and deployed to production through Cloudflare Pages.

Panadería y Pastelería Alvarado logo

Panadería y Pastelería Alvarado

For this project, I designed and developed a modern, highly optimized web platform for Panadería y Pastelería Alvarado, focused on boosting their local digital presence. Built with Astro and Tailwind CSS, I delivered a lightning-fast, responsive interface that engages users through an immersive visual experience, featuring an edge-to-edge photo mosaic integrated with a custom Vanilla JS Lightbox. The UI design incorporates elegant details such as infinite typewriter animations and bespoke SVG dividers to reinforce the brand's warm identity. Finally, the site was successfully deployed on Cloudflare Pages with a custom domain, implementing advanced technical SEO configurations (Sitemaps and Google Search Console) and direct Google Maps integration to ensure rapid indexing and outstanding organic search visibility.
